Westville Family Resource Centre
The organisation was formed in 1997 following a successful pilot of the Lifestart programme in the Devenish area from 1995, to include the whole of Enniskillen and beyond it then moved to Westville.
The organisation is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors and 10 paid staff members.
W.F.R.C recognises that family life is central to a childs development and our motto being to promote positive family values through the various programmes we deliver. We are affiliated to the Lifestart Foundation to deliver their programme and agree with their principles that childhood is an important phase of life, that the home is the primary learning environment and that parents are the primary educators and are worthy of resources to support and assist them in their role as the educators of the future generation. Home Visits inform, network and reduce isolation and loneliness for parents as well as providing a link into the social community network.
